The Light Beside Me

The Light Beside Me is set in the rich waters of Magdalena Bay, where the desert meets the Pacific and sardines draw life to the surface. The film follows Danny Parra, a lifelong commercial fisherman forced to adapt when a fading fishery and growing responsibility push him from the only path he has ever known.

Guided by his friend Gabino, supported by his wife Yarit, and sparked by an unexpected introduction to fly fishing, Danny works toward becoming a marlin guide — earning each step along the way.
